4 African American panelist playing major roles in the technology industry around Atlanta gathered at the Center for Civil and Human Rights in Downtown Atlanta on Thursday evening to discuss the progression of Technology among African Americans.
Powered by Black Tech Planet, Pitch and Sip was a way for startups to pitch & demo their software, hardware product, or service in front of a live audience and to a panel of judges.

Essence Lofton: Local StartUp Community Lead representing Digital Undivided

Each Techprenuer had 5 minutes to pitch their startup to the panel.
Panelist such as Mr. Marquiz gave some pretty good tips regarding connecting yourself with other creatives. One example he disucussed was turning on the nearby feature while logged into LinkedIn. Also, he stressed the importance of money and resources being available for African American entrepreneurs, we just need to be proactive in our preparation and deliveries.
