Math Teacher Making Virtual Learning Fun

As we all know, social media has played a big part in keeping us entertained during self-isolation. Ms. Rolle has used one of the most popular channels out right now (TikTok) to further aid her students on math techniques.

I wanted to have a positive impact on children’s lives.

Ms. Sharmez Rolle has been in education for 10 years and is currently a Middle School Math Teacher, Tutor & Mentor. When asked what fueled her inspiration in becoming a teacher, she simply answered, “I wanted to have a positive impact on children’s lives.”

Out of all of the social media channels, why TikTok?

During the Warm-Up drills I would teach my students kool math tricks, and they would say, “Ms. Rolle the world needs to know these tricks. Please start TikTok and other social media platforms to help other students and parents who are struggling during this pandemic.”

So she did just that! You heard it here first, Ms. Rolle is the TikTok queen of Math!
